On November 24, 2014, a small signal in Lorain, Ohio started doing something big. It started carrying urban gospel music, local ministry voices, and a word of hope into homes, cars, kitchens, and hospital rooms across Northern Ohio. Twelve years later, Power 89.1 WNZN is still here, still commercial-free, and still 100% listener-supported.
That's worth a celebration. So we're throwing one.

Why Twelve Years Matters
Gospel radio in Northern Ohio doesn't stay on the air by accident. It stays on because people decide it should. Every song you hear on Power 89.1, every prayer lifted on the air, and every community announcement we share is made possible by listeners, churches, and local partners who believe the gospel signal belongs in Lorain, Erie, Cuyahoga, and Medina Counties.
Over these twelve years, Power 89.1 has become a two-time Stellar Award-winning station and a home for local pastors, ministry broadcasts, and community voices that don't always get a platform anywhere else. We're grateful, and we're not done.
