WNZN Power 89.1 FM • Northern Ohio • Nonprofit Urban Gospel Radio

The mission of WNZN Power 89.1 FM is to use the transformative power of urban gospel music, faith-based programming, and community-driven content to uplift, inspire, and unite the Northern Ohio — including Lorain, Erie, Cuyahoga, and Medina Counties. We believe that every person deserves access to uplifting media that reflects their faith, their community, and their culture.

Founded on November 24, 2014, WNZN is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit broadcast ministry operating at 89.1 FM in Northern Ohio. We are 100% commercial-free and listener-supported, serving Northern Ohio with the only dedicated urban gospel radio station in the region.

Who We Serve

Power 89.1 FM serves Lorain, Elyria, Avon Lake, North Ridgeville, Sheffield, and the broader Lorain, Erie, Cuyahoga, and Medina County area 24 hours a day. Our listeners are families, seniors, students, and working adults seeking urban gospel music, faith-based talk, community announcements, and local news.

Our Impact

As a two-time Stellar Award winning broadcast ministry, WNZN Power 89.1 FM has earned national recognition for excellence in gospel radio. Since 2014, we have provided free broadcasting to dozens of local churches and nonprofits, championed Northern Ohio gospel artists, and served as a trusted community partner across Lorain County.
